I loved this book for all the different ideas and processes shown that people use to get their thoughts together. Great photos and illustrations, and the text follows young designers on their journey toward the perfect garment. I do go back to this book for inspiration at the start of each design season as it allows me to review the way I work and reflect on how I can improve my communication with the rest of the design team.

Well, anyone looking for an awesome case to fit your iphone 4s, And you really want something that fits well & feels good in the hands & has a look of a fashionista iphone cases. Look know more in my opinion this cases has it all. Let me tell you I went to all kinds of web sites searching for a pretty case but a practical one to. I came back & forth to Amazon checking out their cases, I knew I wanted something super cute for my new iphone 4s. I looked at Rhinestone cases because they always catch my eyes. But their always seems to be issue of the rhinestone coming off. I cant believe companies cant make an iphone 4s rhinestone case that rhinestones will stay on. i love this case. it is durable and has protected my iphone from multiple different falls.downside is that it does make the phone a little bulky, and it is diffcult to get off if you need to.but overall great case

Great case
The case is exactly as shown and I appreciate the little extra plastic around the front control button. Not many cases have that option but I think it protects the face of the phone better with it. The only downside is the case is very slippery. My former case was a hard plastic that had a rubberized type of film on it so it wasn't so smooth and shiny. Just wish it had a little more grip so the phone didn't slide out of my hand. The design is nice though and overall a great case, especially for the price.

By “young,” they mean 30 or under, and by “creatives,” they mean those doing great things in graphic design, photography, illustration, advertising and art direction, environmental design, film, animation, video, interactive design, object design,... Behold Young Guns 10 , the Art Directors Club ‘s international, cross-disciplinary, portfolio-based competition to identify the young creative vanguard. Young Guns 10 is open to ADC members and non-members worldwide (last year’s competition saw entrants from 43 countries).

5 Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance (FR) designed London’s Sketch club, and has since won a Red Dot award for his Corvo chair for Bernhardt Design. They’ve designed two pieces for La Chance: Bolt, a stool of four pieces of ash wood looped by a metal ring. 3 Suzanne de Graef (NL), based in Eindhoven, has designed Rhythm of light, a pendant light influenced by the classical lighting found at The Château of Versailles. 2 Bashko Trybek (PL) was selected as one of Elle Deco’s Young Designer Talent 2011. 8 Francois Dumas (FR) worked at the Bouroullec brothers’ studio in Paris, and has since set up Krux, an art and design collective in Amsterdam. They were originally commissioned by La Chance to design two pieces: a mirror and a screen. 10 Pool Design (FR) took part in the Nouvelle Vague exhibition in Milan in 2010. 7 Note Design Studio (SE) is a collective of creatives in Stockholm.

Believe it or not, designers, creative directors, even those in the company who know little about design are flattered that you hold their work in high regard. You may well be the best designer in the world, but there are thousands of designers that have already been where you are and are years ahead of you. Life at the bottom is hard, and if that’s where you are – get used to it (just don’t settle for it). When you leave University all high on your 1st class honours, thinking you are the best designer in the world and could get any job, stop. Tweet, talk about their work, talk about your work, ask questions. You don’t want to be pigeon holed as the person that can only do THAT kind of illustration or THAT kind of design. And guess what, they think they are the best designer in the world. It was hard work as I was completing my Final Major and Dissertation at the time, but it set me up. Never before has there been a time where it’s been so easy to actually talk to agencies and studios without even picking up the phone. I think it’s important to carry this on. We should always be looking to develop and grow. They’ll be damned if they are going to let some new kid with a pair of red trousers and floppy hair walk into their agency and work on better briefs then they do. It’s the circle of life.
